Executive Coach & Leadership Consultant
Eliska is an organization development consultant and facilitator. She partners with leaders and work groups in designing the organization of their choice in service of business strategy. Eliska facilitates a big picture view and helps discover paths to a preferred future that honor collective wisdom, results and relevance.
Eliska is currently leading the Conference Board’s research working group on Growing Talent for Succession, and is a program director for their Mid-Market Human Resource Executive Council. She has also been retained by Grove Consultants, International as a senior consultant associate for over seven years.
Some of Eliska’s clients within the last 20 years have included stellar organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Agilent, and Levi Strauss. In her high technology work, Eliska led Strategic Visioning for Hewlett Packard Consulting in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. For her government clients, she has been the organizational teambuilding project manager for the $1+ billion Caltrans/KFM Bay Bridge Skyway Project, and facilitated 300+ person conferences of project managers in the Public Building Service. Her nonprofit clients have retained Eliska to design and facilitate multi-disciplinary councils and boards. Her emphasis has been in service of raising capability within complex systems.
Prior to starting her own company, Eliska was an internal organization consultant for Levi Strauss & Company. While there, she worked with the North American finance and customer relations organizations to design and implement “quick start” approaches to new ways of working during a $700 million reengineering initiative.
Eliska holds a Bachelor of Science degree in social work and a Master of science in industrial/organizational psychology. During her early years in New York, Eliska learned the value of mental toughness, while in San Francisco she expanded her sense of compassion. Her two adult sons and husband of more than 25 years keep her grounded in communication. In addition to singing in the Glide Ensemble Gospel Choir and exploring her roots in the Czech Republic, Eliska runs 19 miles a week and practices Bikram yoga.
