Lori Lennox
Executive Coach & Leadership Consultant

Lori Lennox is an executive coach and organizational development consultant who specializes in working with leaders on ‘soft’ factors, such as emotional intelligence, leadership style, and behavioral modalities, which in turn improve the ‘hard’ business metrics, such as growth, value, and performance. Lori has worked extensively with both corporate and individual clients to increase executive emotional intelligence, directly impacting communication and leadership effectiveness to create high impact change.

Lori launched her coaching business in 2001 after achieving notable success in cross-functional leadership positions with esteemed Fortune 100 companies, including Cisco Systems and General Electric Company. She gained much of her extensive organizational development expertise in her eight year tenure with General Electric, where she played a leading role in GE's highly respected productivity initiative under the leadership of Jack Welch. This initiative included programs such as Work Out, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Talent Management and Six Sigma.

Lori has supported leaders globally in the areas of technology, healthcare, manufacturing, venture capital, and start-up. Her clients have included leading companies such as Cisco Systems, Adobe, and the State of California.

Lori is certified in a number of coaching disciplines, including emotional intelligence, cultural transformation, team performance and a variety of powerful and effective assessments – all of which help her clients gain better self-awareness and insights for personal and organizational success.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Virginia Tech, Lori received extensive Masters’ level education through study at the legendary John F. Welch Leadership Center. The latter is recognized as an institution at the forefront of real-world application for cutting-edge thinking in organizational development, leadership, and innovation. As a social entrepreneur herself, Lori also expands her passion and expertise by working with start-ups in the emerging field of Social Entrepreneurialism.

Lori is committed to digging in and doing the hard stuff with leaders and organizations. The soft stuff is indeed the hardest stuff to master, yet it is what can yield the most significant change and become the most reliable context for rewarding and sustainable success.
