Wende Amerie is Chief of Staff for Corporate Edge, Inc., a premier leadership coaching firm in San Francisco, California. The scope of her corporate responsibilities includes business development, marketing, talent management and project management.  Wende directs all operations, including communications between the Leadership Consultants and high-profile clients, and leads the firm’s efforts in ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Since joining Corporate Edge in 2006, Wende’s strong management, organizational and communication skills have contributed significantly to the firm’s leading reputation.   Her ability to seamlessly manage daily operations allows the Leadership Consultants and CEO/Founder Michael Takagawa to focus exclusively on core work with senior level executives.  Wende ensures client satisfaction and engagement success from first point of contact through completion and fosters an environment for individual, team and company excellence throughout the engagement.  Her passion for exceeding expectations has paved the way for (or directly led to) record firm growth, year over year.

Prior to joining the Corporate Edge team, Wende was a project manager for Lee Hecht Harrison’s Leadership Consulting division, where she developed and managed the world-wide coaching roster, expanding it to more than 450 coaches.  Wende’s previous positions include project, talent and event management responsibilities, including that of speaker services program manager for Key3Media.  In that capacity, she researched and engaged speakers for large global conferences.

Wende is a certified Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in business management and her Paralegal Certificate from Saint Mary’s College, Moraga, California.
